I was lucky enough to be invited to a residency with ArtHouse Jersey, where a group of artists and I were locked away on a tiny islet with Elizabeth Castle—just creating. We came from islands all over Europe, bringing together musicians, sculptors, installation artists, filmmakers, actors, dancers, and singers, all working around the theme of "Islands."

During my stay, I created, amongst other pieces, a short film that was later used in one of the final performances. It was projected onto onion-skin paper, casting moving images over the actors' bodies, adding an extra layer to the show we shared with the audience at the end of the residency.
